Rising star vocalist Georgia Heers joins jazz pianist Gabriel Schillinger-Hyman at Dorot in what will be their debut duo show. Improvisation and spontaneous composition will be central to their performance of jazz standards and American Songbook classics. A recent graduate of Juilliard's Jazz Master's program, Georgia Heers performs with a host of NYC heavyweights at jazz venues including Dizzy's - Jazz at Lincoln Center, Smalls Jazz Club, Mezzrow, Chris Jazz Cafe, and more recently, at Emmet’s Place with renowned pianist, Emmet Cohen. Gabriel Schillinger-Hyman, too, can be found performing regularly at household venues in NYC, has played as an accompanist at Carnegie Hall, and tours with internationally acclaimed musicians including the GRAMMY-winning Christopher McBride and Tim Green, a Grammy-nominee and saxophonist for Michael Bublé. Gabriel received his Master's in Music from the Manhattan School of Music in 2023 and a BA in Hispanic Literatures and Cultures from Brown University.
